Quality, mil-spec, affordable AR-15 and LR-308 rifle kits. But why ours, specifically? For starters, our kits aren't legally considered firearms. Even with an included billet or forged 80% lower, these parts kits do not yet function -- not until you fabricate your receiver blank with the right 80% jig and tooling. That means your kit ships direct to your door, minus all the extra taxes, fees, and FFL paperwork. But cost savings aren't the only reason to consider our 5.56/.223 and .308 build kits:
Industry-Leading Specs for Each Rifle Kit
- All barrels are forged from MIL-B-11595 E steel (4150 or Chromoly Vanadium)
- All stainless barrels forged from Crucible 416R steel, offering sub-MOA accuracy
- All BCGs are M16 in profile with chrome lining and properly staked gas keys
- All stripped upper receivers forged from mil-spec 7075 T6 aluminum
- All buffer assemblies and lower parts kits are mil-spec in fit and finish
- All barreled uppers are test-fired to ensure proper assembly
Mil-Spec 80% Lower Receivers
Completing each kit is a billet (6061-T6) or mil-spec forged (7075-T6) aluminum 80% lower, sized up for the appropriate 5.56 or .308 magazines and included parts kit, buffer, and upper assembly. Once you've cut and drilled your lower receiver, assembling your rifle kit is no different than piecing together a store-bought stripped lower receiver or other LPK and upper. First time building a black rifle with a build kit and 80% lower? You probably have some questions.
What's Included With Your Kit
Each rifle kit is considered complete from muzzle to buttstock. Aside from cutting and drilling the included lower receiver blank, everything you need to assemble a functional rifle ready for the range is included:
- (1) 5.56/.308 80% Lower Receiver
- (1) AR-15 or LR-308 Upper Assembly
- (1) Mil-spec Lower Parts Kit
- (1) Buffer & Buttstock
- (1) Bolt carrier group
