1911 Frame

1911 Frame

We’re excited to introduce the all-new 1911 80% frame! These 80% frames are 100% legal to own and are not legally considered firearms under ATF policy or federal law. You don’t have to deal with an FFL transfer for your online purchase, you don't need to file any paperwork, submit to a needless background check, suffer a waiting period for pick-up, or pay extra taxes and fees.

First time building a 1911? Here’s an instructional guide on how to do it.

Upgraded Aluminum (No More Steel)

Each 1911 frame blank is CNC machined from mil-spec forged 7075-T6 aluminum. This is a huge improvement to the 1911’s original steel design. Each frame weighs approximately 60% less than the 1911's original frame and each is 100% compatible with all retail parts of the same caliber. The result is a frame that’s ready for better performance and easy customization. All you need to do is complete some basic machine work with hand tools at home.

Build at home, No Experience Necessary

Our frames and jigs are so easy to use, even novice builders and first-time owners can complete a frame blank at home in a single day. The entire process can take as little as 30 to 45 minutes. Our frames are proudly made in the USA by some of the country’s best gunsmiths. Frames are available in full size (5″) and Commander (4.25″) models chambered in good ole' .45 ACP or 9mm. Each frame features a mil-spec anodized black finish or raw billet finish.

Complete Build Kits Available

Want everything you need in one shipment? Grab a 1911 build kit and you’ll have every part you need to turn a box of springs, bolts and bits into a quality, top-tier 1911. One that competes with the best for pennies on the dollar. We even bundled our frames with the jig so you can get to building the second your box arrives at your front door!
